Step 1: Open Dodao.dev

• Launch your web browser and navigate to Dodao.dev, Dodao dApp opens on an Arweave URL.

Step 2: Connect Your Wallet to MetaMask

• Ensure you have the MetaMask browser extension installed.
• Connect your MetaMask wallet to Dodao.dev by clicking on the wallet icon and following the prompts.

Step 3: Access Task Creation

• Once connected, locate the “pencil symbol” located at the bottom of your dashboard.
• Click on the pencil symbol to initiate the task creation process.

Step 4: Specify Task Details

• Enter a descriptive Task Name, such as “Dodao.dev Test Task”, to clearly convey the nature of the task.
• Provide a detailed Task Description outlining the objectives, requirements, and any additional information relevant to the task.
• Optionally, select NFTs to associate with the task. This can add value and exclusivity to the task, incentivizing participation.

• Consider allocating a small amount of Dodao tokens to enable further testing or incentivize task completion.
• Share your GitHub Repository URL if you have one and wish to.
• Once you’ve filled out all the necessary details, click on the “create task” button to finalize the task creation process.

Step 5: Your task is now published in the marketplace

• Your task is now listed in the task marketplace for other , where other users can discover it and apply to participate.

Step 6: Performer Application and Monitoring of Task Progress

• You are able to see your tasks in your customer dashboard.
• Once you’ve applications for a task, access your customer dashboard to manage your applications and tasks.
• If you’ve created a task and applicants have applied, identify them by the white number in the red circle on the right side of to the task.

• Click on your task to open it and to see more details.

• Click on the purple button next to the number of participants to view applicant details.
• Review each applicant’s account details and choose the performer you want for your task by clicking on “select performer” and following the MetaMask instructions.

Step 7: Performer Application and Monitoring of Task Progress

• The task will move from the “selection” category to the “progress” category once both parties have agreed on the performer.
• Open the “progress” tab to view the current status of your tasks, which is “agreed” at the moment.

• After the performer started with your task, the status change from “agreed” to “progress”.

Step 8: Review and Task Completion

• Once the performer completes the task, they will send it to you for review.
• The task status will show as “review.”

• If you‘re satisfied with the work, confirm the review and leave a 1–5 star rating along with a written comment about the performer. This information will be securely saved on the blockchain.

• Once the task moves from “in progress” to “completed,” the task is done, and the status confirms the completion of the task with “completed” as well.
